PEER 1 Premieres "Growing Pains" Episode Two, Contest

Humorous new episode airs at Interop Las Vegas to highlight true-to-life growing pains of home office IT networks

Booth No. 2507, Interop, Las Vegas – April 29, 2008 – PEER 1, a leading provider of online IT infrastructure, released today the second episode of its humorous video series, “Growing Pains,” along with its new Growing Pains $10,000 Contest. Premiering at Interop Las Vegas, from April 29 – May 1, 2008 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, episode two continues the saga of a home business start-up that grew quickly out of control, taking over the house with new employees, computers and servers.

Viewers of the episode can create their own growing pains videos highlighting their personal experiences for a chance to win a prize package of 12 months of free managed hosting, a 15-inch MacBook and a Sony HD camcorder, at a total value of $10,000.

“We want our customers to focus on the possibilities not the problems of the Internet,” said Rajan Sodhi, vice president of marketing at PEER 1. “With the Growing Pains series we are able to bring people together through humor and show that we truly understand the issues that businesses face today. PEER 1 removes these issues to help online businesses succeed in any industry.”

Many PEER 1 customers experienced their own growing pains before they turned to the company to help gain control of their IT infrastructure.

PEER 1 has compiled the top five of these growing pains, which are:

1. High Costs – Running servers from a home office eats up too much capital and keeps small businesses from making other important investments
2. Too Complex – Networks are too complex, too difficult to manage
3. Time Consuming – Businesses suffer because IT takes up too much time, and business owners are not able to focus on generating revenue
4. Unreliable – Lack of redundancy means businesses experience downtime and lose revenue
5. No support – Running a network in a home office means there is not any IT support

The Growing Pains video series is a part of PEER 1’s “We Get IT” campaign, which focuses on the customers behind technology. The first episode was viewed more than 75,000 times through Viddler and YouTube.

PEER 1 Contest Eases IT Growing Pains

Big Room Studios Wins 12 Months of Free Managed Hosting, Just in Time for Needed Expansion

VANCOUVER, BC – April 8, 2008 – PEER 1, a leading provider of online IT infrastructure, has announced the winner of its Growing Pains Free Hosting Contest, with a prize of 12 months of free managed hosting, valued at more than $2400. Tim Mateosian, co-founder of Big Room Studios, has won a managed hosting server, which includes 1 TB of monthly data transfer and bi-weekly vulnerability scans. The open contest received more than 1,000 online entries from viewers of the premier episode of “Growing Pains,” the company’s humorous video-short series (www.peer1.com/growingpains/index.php?play).

“The best thing about this contest is that it truly helps Tim solve his IT ‘growing pains’ and expand his business,” said Rajan Sodhi, vice president of marketing at PEER 1. “Business and tech managers go through many IT challenges as their online demands grow. Sharing their stories in entertaining ways can help others navigate the complexities of running an online business.”

Headquartered in Portland, Maine, Big Room Studios (www.bigroomstudios.com) specializes in offering combined online services, which primarily include web and print design, web development and IT support and consulting. Started in 2002 by Mateosian and his brother, the company now has clients throughout North America and the UK.

Mateosian has been a PEER 1 customer for nearly six years and has worked in the hosting industry for more than 10 years. He has always loved computers and technology and started in the industry as a hosting reseller. The business grew to include advanced web solutions when his brother, a talented programmer, joined and created a web framework for the firm. PEER 1’s self-managed hosting is the ideal solution for this kind of programming, since the Mateosian brothers require more control over the server environment in order to run their web solutions.

“I am excited about winning the managed hosting contest. This is extremely good timing since our company is growing quickly and we were planning on expanding anyway,” said Mateosian. “And I have never won anything before!”

PEER 1 will be holding a new contest, calling for contestants to create and upload their own “growing pains” video, in conjunction with the upcoming second episode of “Growing Pains” due out in May.

Here they can confirm architectural design, conduct ‘Proof of Concepts,’ and get feedback from potential customers.

When the product is ready for market, it can then be seamlessly transitioned online, within the PEER 1 secure, managed hosting infrastructure. These services can help reduce IT spending and consolidate resources needed for SaaS applications. As the product and company grows, the SaaS3 program provides expert consultation and a fully scalable network to support it.

“SaaS presents a tremendous opportunity for ISVs, particularly for those working with a hosting provider,” said John Zanni, managing director of worldwide hosting for Microsoft Corp. “Working with a company like PEER 1, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, not only brings credibility to the organization, but also helps the ISV go to market quicker.”

PEER 1 has formulated the SaaS3 program for Windows to continue providing value-added services to its ISV partners and in turn to their customers.

“Having an online testing area, such as SaaS3, will help our company to expand product offerings more quickly and with better results, said Jon Biedermann, vice president of DonorPerfect.com. “PEER 1 has provided us with excellent customer service and support for many years, and adding this program will just continue to build their reliability and reputation as a valuable business and IT partner.”

PEER 1 Attains Gold Certified Partner Status in Microsoft Partner Program

PEER 1 Further Distinguishes Itself by Earning a Microsoft Competency in Advanced Infrastructure Solutions

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA –Tuesday, December 5th, 2006 – PEER 1 Network Enterprises, Inc. (TSX-V:PIX), a leading provider of Internet infrastructure solutions, today announced it has attained Gold Certified Partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program with a competency in Advanced Infrastructure Solutions.

The Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Program recognizes PEER 1’s expertise and impact in the technology marketplace. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners receive a rich set of benefits, including access, training and support, giving them a competitive advantage in the channel.

“We are extremely pleased to have achieved Gold Certified Partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program,” said Bill White, PEER 1’s chief information officer. “This allows us to clearly promote our expertise and relationship with Microsoft to our customers and to utilize the benefits of the Gold Certified Partner program to further enhance our product and service offerings.”

“Customers are looking for partner companies that can bridge the gap between their business demands and technology capabilities,” said Allison Watson, vice president of the Worldwide Partner Sales and Marketing Group at Microsoft Corp. “They need to trust in a company that can act as an expert advisor for their long-term strategic technology plans. To qualify to become a Gold Certified Partner, PEER 1 demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and a proven ability to meet customers’ needs. In addition to obtaining employee Microsoft certifications and PEER 1 customer references, PEER 1 had to declare and earn a Microsoft Competency - in this case, in Advanced Infrastructure Solutions. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry. PEER 1 extends its high performance Internet network to Amsterdam

Vancouver, British Columbia - Wednesday, September 20th, 2006 - PEER 1 Network Enterprises, Inc. (TSX-V: PIX), a leading provider of Internet infrastructure, today announced that the company has extended its high performance Internet network to connect to the second largest Internet exchange in Europe: AMS-IX of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

"Connecting to AMS-IX is an important part of the PEER 1 network strategy." said Mark Teolis, PEER 1's vice president of network & co-location, and the person who designed the PEER 1 network. "PEER 1 customers from around the world benefit from the direct access that AMS-IX provides to the more than 200 other networks, Internet service providers (ISPs) and content providers that connect there. This improves the network's performance for all PEER 1 clients."

The new network point of presence (POP) also enhances the PEER 1 Content Delivery Network (CDN) powered by the company's unique RapidEdge technology. Now, PEER 1's CDN clients' web content is cached on servers in Amsterdam in addition to the North American caching servers, so European end-users retrieve content from the much closer Amsterdam servers instead of from North America. This can reduce latency by 80 to 140 milliseconds, meaning faster delivery of content, applications, and media to end-users.

The Amsterdam POP is now live, and PEER 1 can begin to pick up new network customers in this location. The POP is located at SARA, one of four AMS-IX housing units.

PEER 1 Extends Internet Network Adding Miami, Dallas and Atlanta

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Market Wire - Apr 05, 2006) -- Network Grows Stronger Through Ongoing Integration of Acquired Interland Business Unit

PEER 1 Network Enterprises Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PIX) announced today that it has improved both the reach and the capacity of the PEER 1 network by extending its presence to Miami, Dallas and Atlanta. The expanded network allows traffic to arrive at its destination faster than before and improves its performance worldwide.

"This growth is part of PEER 1's expansion plan that began in the fall of 2005 with the acquisition of Interland's dedicated hosting services," said Mark Teolis, PEER 1's vice president of network and co-location. "Extending PEER 1's Internet network to these new data centers enhances the Internet performance for our customers. PEER 1 now has 18 points of presence (POPs) and 15 data centers worldwide."

Connecting these additional cities to the PEER 1 network ensures that the new facilities have the fastest possible connection to the two largest exchange points on the Internet - Equinix in Ashburn, VA and LINX in London, UK.

The extension also brings more opportunities for peering with major networks, which enhances network performance for customers. "Peering" is an arrangement between network carriers where network X can run traffic on network Y without charge and in exchange for the same privilege. Most network carriers participate in peering because it reduces costs and significantly improves performance.

With the extension to the new cities, PEER 1 joined major peering access points including Equinix in Dallas and the NAP of the Americas in Miami. The NAP of the Americas is the point at which the majority of traffic from Central and South America enters North America.

PEER 1's future growth plans in 2006 include extending the network into Fremont, CA and San Antonio, TX.

PEER 1 scores touchdown with Canadian Football League

Canadian Football League Taps PEER 1 Internet Infrastructure to Help Support Growing Online Fan Base

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA - Tuesday, February 7, 2006 - PEER 1 Network Enterprises, Inc. (TSX-V: PIX) today announced that the Canadian Football League (CFL) has selected PEER 1 as their Internet infrastructure provider. Working with the CFL, PEER 1 will be responsible for ensuring the League's official websites, www.CFL.ca and www.LCF.ca, are always accessible to its growing legion of fans and able to handle high volumes of traffic without sacrificing online performance.

In making the decision, the CFL acknowledged the importance of a robust network in anticipation of the Grey Cup, its championship game held each November. Web traffic for last year's Grey Cup in Vancouver, B.C. increased 74% over the average daily traffic numbers experienced during regular season games the same year. In 2005, 3,845,205 viewers visited the CFL's English web site, an increase of 14% over 2004. To ensure CFL.ca was able to withstand increased traffic the CFL has placed their servers in PEER 1's data center location in Toronto. PEER 1's data center is connected to the highly robust, scalable PEER 1 Internet network that can handle spikes in site traffic without slowing down or crashing, as often is the case when sites experience large traffic volume.

"With CFL.ca and LCF.ca as the national portals for Canadian football content, we recognize the importance of providing our fans with the timely, dynamic information that is accessible anytime, anywhere," said Brent Scrimshaw, Chief Marketing Officer, CFL. "With exceptional growth in both attendance and broadcast audiences, and our ongoing commitment to delivering the very best of our on-field product, we wanted to ensure our online presence was able to keep par with the rest of the business. We are pleased to be working with PEER 1 to help us achieve this."

"It is great to be working with the Canadian Football League," said Lance Tracey, president and CEO of PEER 1. "PEER 1 understands the need for fast and always accessible information, with 100% uptime to ensure that web sites never go down. We are happy to be part of the solution serving Canada's avid football fans."

About the Canadian Football League:

PEER 1 signs SpotBowl, lets fans vote for their favorite Super Bowl ads

Only Super Bowl Ad Polling Site to Provide Real-time Results

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA Tuesday, January 31st, 2006 PEER 1 Network Enterprises, Inc. (TSX-V: PIX) today announced that SPOTBOWL has selected PEER 1 as their Internet infrastructure provider to power their live polling of Super Bowl commercials during and after Super Bowl XL. Visitors to the site can vote on over 50 commercials and, unlike similar sites, view real-time results.
SPOTBOWL, now in its third year, lets viewers rank the commercials with ratings that range from touchdown to fumble or vote for the MVP award for the most valuable commercial. Tallies can be viewed in real-time, with the final winners posted after the polls close at 3 p.m. EST on Monday, February 6th.
This is our third year of running the consumer poll, said Michael Pavone, president of Pavone advertising and public relations of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Our traffic has increased significantly from 12,000 hits in our first year to 196,000 last year. Thats an awful lot of traffic in a two-day period, so we want to ensure that our network infrastructure can handle the further growth we expect in 2006. Thats where PEER 1 comes in, because their network is reputed to be able to handle just about any volume of traffic our website experiences. They were also able to custom build servers for us in the very short timeframe that we needed which made the decision to make PEER 1 our dedicated hosting partner an easy one.
"Watching commercials during the Super Bowl has become a recreational sport in itself over the years," said Rajan Sodhi, PEER 1s Director of MARCOM. "I find it very entertaining to see companies try to out-do one another with their ads. I will be keeping a close eye on SPOTBOWL.com to vote for my favorites, and to see the public's reaction. It's a great concept and I'm excited that PEER 1 can contribute to the SPOTBOWL movement."

About SpotBowl:
SPOTBOWL is the brainchild of Pennsylvania-based advertising and public relations thinkbank, Pavone. In its third year, the poll was designed to allow Super Bowl viewers to post their votes for their favorite ad spots. The company believes that for $2.5 million per airing, consumers have every right to expect a little more than the usual in advertising viewing. Whats more, Pavone believes that the advertisers ought to know what the consumer thinks about the marketing messages conveyed during the Super Bowl.
